Charming South of France home sleeps 8 has 4 bedrooms, 2 pools & air conditioning. Between Uzès & Ales, at the foot of the Cevennes, is the peaceful hamlet of Suzon in a tranquil setting that this charming and beautiful house awaits you. A real haven of peace, the home offers a lovely private swimming pool and a secluded garden as well as another large shared garden with a beautiful lawn and shared pool just a 2-minute walk from our home. ** We have 1 bathroom with separate tub and shower as well as a 1/2 bath now and will have a new second bathroom with shower added by June 15,2019.** When there are no guests in our other house, the shared pool becomes private. How wonderful to have two pools and lovely gardens to enjoy!
This fresh, light-filled home has everything you need to relax after a day of sightseeing. Great attention to detail was given while decorating our house and when you step into the elegant living room, furnished with stylish furniture; you can let yourself unwind on the comfortable furnishings. We have a wood-burning fireplace available from September – June (by law, we can't use it in July and August).
For those warmer days, we have air conditioning both in the living room as well as the upstairs bedroom area. Besides being convenient, having a full-size washer and separate full-size dryer will lessen the need to bring extra clothes. All towels and bed linen are provided so you can walk in and enjoy our home!
The kitchen is perfectly set up to make breakfast or a gourmet evening meal. You will undoubtedly enjoy the tranquility and beautiful view while dining inside or al fresco. The well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave as well as a coffee machine, hot water boiler for tea and, a toaster. You'll enjoy using our electric barbeque grill as well. One of the unique features is the beautiful travertine floor that is heated in the colder months!
The four bedrooms are so comfortable and quiet. In the master bedroom, we have a king size bed (180cm). Our beautiful second bedroom has a queen size bed (160cm) with small sitting area, and our third bedroom has a brand new king size bed that can also be made into two twins if needed. This bedroom has a skylight that has a blackout shade as well. The 4th bedroom is on a level located in an office/den area that has a full-size bed (140) while it doesn't have a door, it does have a curtain for privacy that shuts it off from the rest of the house. If needed, in the living room we have a large round king size bed that sits in front of the fireplace. This is a favorite spot for us in the winter, and we treat the living room as a large master bedroom.
Upstairs we have a lovely bathroom with a large bathtub and separate walk-in shower. The upstairs toilet is ideal because it is separate from the bathroom allowing for two people to be using the facilities at once in private. There is a 1/2 bath downstairs with a toilet and vanity sink. We are adding a second bathroom with a shower that will be completed by June 15, 2019.
Please let us know if you will be traveling with an infant or toddler who needs a crib so that we can provide one for you before you arrive.
Your holiday in our home will be filled with sunshine, relaxation all in a beautiful and peaceful setting! While our posted arrival time is 4 pm (16:00) or later, we try to be flexible as we can be. The same flexibility applies to our 10 AM departure time as well.
You will discover this beautiful region and lovely walks await you in the ruins of Castellas or Castle of Allegre. You will undoubtedly enjoy the serenity far from the tumults of urban life. For climbing enthusiasts, the Mont Bouquet awaits you, but you can also try canoeing on the Cèze. Bike lovers, Mejannes le Clap, offers you perfect roads lined with forests and holm oaks.
